Advocacy
As a business association of rural women entrepreneurs and farmers, ARWA helps to raise issues faced by rural women with local and national authorities. This includes the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Economy and relevant agencies like the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency. It also helps rural women entrepreneurs access government programs by arranging meetings and trainings by relevant agencies and by providing support to members to access these programs.
As access to credit is limited for rural women entrepreneurs, it also holds discussions with banks on enabling easier access to credit and for women entrepreneurs.
