Briliyant Khumbatova was born in 1986 in Panbek village of Basarkechar district of Goycha Mahal. She has a secondary education and has been engaged in agriculture for 15 years. Along with notable achievements such as equal opportunities for women farmers and access to microfinance, she has also become a transformational Role Model in the field of agriculture, shedding light on more favorable opportunities for women in the country's agriculture. She is a member of the Council of Farmers under the Ministry of Agriculture. According to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev No. 2982 dated October 30, 2021, she was awarded with the 3rd class order of labor for his service in the development of agriculture. She is a member of the National Advisory Council of the Association of Rural Women of Azerbaijan. She currently lives in Shamakhi district. She is married and has three children. My biggest achievement was starting my own business. I started my farm with a cow given to me by my father-in-law, and soon I started to do poultry and beekeeping in parallel. By joining the Ministry of Agriculture's sustainable projects for women, I expanded my farm by obtaining state subsidies and 15 bee families from the AFAQ project. On October 15, 2022, I was awarded an Honorary Diploma by the Ministry of Agriculture on the occasion of International Rural Women's Day. Joining the projects of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, I started receiving professional support from experts in various fields, including agriculture, and later, with the knowledge, experience and digital skills I gained from FAO, I supported 20 other beekeeping women in Shamakhi as a beekeeping mentor. In addition, I regularly share the knowledge I have learned in various trainings with inexperienced women. I try to solve them by conveying the problems and suggestions of our farmers to the relevant institutions through the associations and councils that I represent. Currently, I am elected Chairman of the Farmers' Council under the State Agrarian Development Center in Shamakhi district."
